Service pins were recently announced at the Liberty National Bank’s annual Christmas party. The award was presented by Carl T. Cecil, Chairman of Liberty National Bank. The Bank congratulates these individuals on their many years of service and dedication.
Six service pins were awarded for 135 years of service.
Courtney Conrad was awarded a five-year pin.Conrad was hired as a full-time teller at Main Bank in 2016. In 2021, she will join the bookkeeping department, performing back-office tasks and helping customers care for her.
Christine Mayfield was presented with a 15-year-old pin. Mayfield was hired in 2005 as a cashier at the West Paris branch. She has held a variety of positions including Bookkeeper, Collegiate and West Paris Branch and Business Treasurer. Mayfield is now working in the new accounts department, and she will assume the role of department manager when the current manager retires.
Ronnie Johnson was awarded the 20-year pin. He joined the bank in 2002 as a maintenance officer and bank courier. His duties call for a variety of tasks, including maintaining the lighting and safety of the building, keeping the premises clean, and arranging courier services for the post office and branches.
William “Bill” Coleman was given a 25-year service pin. Coleman was hired as a loan officer in 1997. He also serves as the Bank’s Compliance Officer and an unofficial Bank Chaplain. In 2011, Coleman was promoted to Senior Vice President. He was then appointed a Director in 2015 and promoted to Vice President in 2016. Coleman will become president of the bank from January 1, 2023.
It was Karen Bolton who received the 30-year pin. She joined the bank in 1992 as a drive-in teller. She later transferred to Robbie and in 2010 was promoted to Assistant She Teller She She Supervisor. In March 2017, she was promoted to teller manager. In 2018, she became an assistant cashier.
Debbye Riddles was awarded a 40 year pin. She was hired as a proofreading operator in 1982 and held that position for 11 years until she transferred to the new accounting department in 1993. She was promoted to bookkeeping supervisor in 2001 and elected assistant cashier in 2002. She was then elected Assistant She Vice and She President in 2008. Urbano is currently serving as the new Accounting Supervisor, retiring soon in 2023.
