Mysticism, festivals and trunk-or-treating are just a few of the spooky events happening around Paris this week and Monday.
Costumed kids and parents should be aware of the weather forecast, as a large storm expected Friday has resulted in many cancellations across the region.
This year, the City of Reno, the First United Methodist Church, and the Pediatric Clinic in Paris will host activities like handing out candy from your car, so there are multiple trunk-or-treat options.
There are also some festivals.

The City of Paris had planned to hand out free candy during the trunk-or-treat event at the Love Civic Center on Friday from 4pm to 7pm, but the large scale expected in the region The city event was postponed because of the storm. A make-up date has not been announced.
The advertisement encouraged the public to come see the police and all departments of the city.
The Pediatric Clinic in Paris (3150 Clarksville Street) will host its first annual trunk-or-treat on Friday at 6pm.
The Paris Public Library (326 S. Main St) hosts the Monster Mash Cakewalk on Saturdays at 2pm.
The Paris Church of God at 1400 Bonham St. hosts a fall carnival with candy, obstacle courses, food and games on Saturdays from 3pm to 6pm.
United Pentecostal Church Paris, 5075 SE Loop 286 hosts a Fall Festival with games, snacks and prizes on Saturday from 4pm to 7pm.
First United Methodist Church Paris, 322 Lamar Ave. is handing out candy at their Trunk or Treat event on Saturdays from 4pm to 6pm.
Paris Elks Lodge 2433, 2110 36th St. NE will host a Halloween party and costume contest on Saturday at 8pm with cash prizes.
Local country bands Stacey Musgrove and the Stoney Creek Band provide evening musical entertainment.
A local downtown business, the Sun Dream Collective, hosts what’s called the Cosmic Collective Mystic Fair on Sundays from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Wade Park at 2400 E. Price St.
There were advertisements that the general public could learn about crystals, tarot, astrology, etc.
Quality Care ER, 2675 41st St. SE, hosts a drive-thru trick-or-treat event Mondays from 3pm to 7pm.
Advertisements encouraged the public to bring goblins, ghouls, and children to special candy treats.
The Calvary United Methodist Church in Paris, 3105 Lamar Avenue, hosts a Trunk or Treat event at 5:30 pm on Mondays when parishioners hand out candy to children.
Kid’s Clinic in Paris (345 Stone Avenue) hosts a drive-thru trick or treat event on Mondays from 5pm to 7pm.
The City of Reno hosts an annual Monster Mash extravaganza on Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Reno Kiwanis Park, 6820 Pine Mill Road.

The Taylor Town Volunteer Fire Department (10187 FM 1498) is hosting a pancake dinner and Harvest Festival fundraiser on Saturday from 4pm to 7pm.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 7-12, and free for children 6 and under.
Advertisements promoted free bounce houses, hayrides, costume contests, cake walks, raffles, and games.
