To date, in France after infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus or, in certain cases, vaccines. These disorders, which cause more or less disability in different people, are related to prolonged Covid. Therefore, it would be useful to provide therapeutic tracks to alleviate them. “Sensitivity” to these treatments varies greatly from person to person. In all cases, it is important to note that these various potential treatments must be prescribed by a doctor and followed.

In our long anti-Covid arsenal are plants and mushrooms (and their extracts) that may be of potential interest (this is not an exhaustive list):

  • Artemisia annua (naturally contains quercetin)
  • ginkgo
  • aloe
  • Turmeric longa
  • Nigella Sativa (Black Cumin)
  • Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice)
  • ginseng
  • Labiatae Ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora)
  • Green Tea
  • Berberine
  • bitter gourd

Some compounds and/or molecules may also be of interest:

  • Vitamin D (proven interest!); for optimal effect, associate this with zinc, magnesium, vitamin K2, liposomal vitamin C, omega-3, selenium, glutathione and/or N-acetyl-cysteine (NAC) can do
  • Melatonin (renin-angiotensin system inhibitor)
  • Sildenafil citrate or Viagra (a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor vasodilator)
  • Antihypertensives: sartans (AT1R antagonists) and ACE inhibitors (including captopril)
  • Quercetin (renin-angiotensin system inhibitor)
  • beta-blockers (certain competitive beta-adrenergic receptor antagonists)
  • Aspirin (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, analgesic/antipyretic/antiplatelet drug)
  • Prednisolone (a steroidal anti-inflammatory drug)
  • NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, antiprostaglandins, COX cyclooxygenase inhibitors)
  • Azithromycin (a macrolide antibiotic with antiviral properties)
  • Clarithromycin (a macrolide antibiotic)
  • Dexamethasone (synthetic anti-inflammatory corticosteroid and renin-angiotensin system inhibitor)
  • cetirizine or ketotifen or claritin (H1 antihistamine)
  • Famotidine (H2 antihistamine)
  • Naltrexone (opioid receptor antagonist)
  • Naloxone (TLR4 and opioid receptor antagonist)
  • Cromolyn sodium (mast cell-stabilizing antiallergic agent)
  • Niacin and nicotinamide (vitamin B3 or PP), redox cofactors of carbohydrate, lipid and protein metabolism
  • Maraviroc (competitive CCR5 receptor antagonist)
  • Pravastatin (statin: lipid-lowering and 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A inhibitor)
  • Montelukast (an anti-asthma drug of the anti-leukotriene family)
  • Donepezil (anticholinesterase for neurological disorders)
  • Ivermectin (several activities including inhibition of the renin-angiotensin system)
  • Hydroxychloroquine (for its anti-inflammatory properties)
  • Fluvoxamine (serotonin reuptake inhibitor)
  • Propolis (for its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties)

Please note that these compounds are provided as a guideline. If Covid is long, talk to your doctor.
