Games are underway at the Paris Community Theater as the curtain rises on PCT’s The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and the Suicide Club on Friday. The play will be performed at the Plaza Theater, home of his PCT, on the north side of the square in downtown Paris.
Author Geoffrey Hatcher mixes the work and characters of two famous British authors, Arthur Conan Doyle and Robert Louis Sevenson, to the point where one critic said, “Oh, the ending I didn’t see it coming.” .”
In the heart of London, the most powerful men in Europe gather to play the game. This game is murder and this is The Suicide Club. But the club has a new member, Sherlock Holmes. He’s brilliant, brooding, and the world’s greatest detective. Why does Holmes want to die? Can his friend Dr. Watson save him? Or does Holmes not want to be saved?
The cast includes Sherlock Holmes and Michael Hintz. Dr. John H. Watson, Dr. Jesse Horn. Mr. Williams, Cody Amos. Mandy Wilson Hale, club secretary. Mr. Henry, Michael Mosher: Mr. Richards, Michael Nickey: Mr. George, Gary O’Connor: Mr. Charles, Jeffrey Stewart: Mr. Hudson, Sabrina Norvick-Cooper: Christiane, Helen Mosher: Lucy, Sabrina Norvick-Cooper : Mr. Roundy, Dick Logee: Mycroft Holmes, Nate Logee; Captain Micklewhite, Kevin Wickersham: Ferry Woman, Jennifer Bacon. “There are some ‘newcomers’ in this production, some who are completely new to theatre, and for me it represents the ‘community’ spirit,” said director Tommy Stone. . “This is probably the most innovative cast I have ever directed. It was a great privilege to work there.”

Showtimes are 7:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 PM on Sundays. Additional performances will be held at 19:30 on March 31st and April 1st, and at 14:30 on April 2nd.
