Crews came to Paris late last year to film a segment about Coca-Cola’s 100 year history here, and while crews were here they expressed interest in the museum.

“Texas Reporter vans were seen several times at the museum, and people began asking what was going on,” Patsy Daniels said late Wednesday afternoon.

A week before Easter, lead producer Mike Snyder contacted Daniels about the possibility of producing a museum segment.

“He said that everyone thought our museum was amazing, and said they wanted to come back the week after Easter,” Daniels said. “I told him I don’t like to speak in public or on recordings, but said I would do anything to promote our museum because this publicity will mean a lot to the Lamar County Historical Society Museum.”
