The reduction in tax rates is a result of state-mandated maintenance and operating tax cuts to reduce the pressure on taxpayers from rising property values.
“Taxpayers appreciate low tax rates and I think they appreciate that we are good stewards of taxes,” Superintendent Paul Jones said.
