Many representatives of American SpiralWeld Pipe were on hand in Dallas earlier this month when the company was named the Texas Workforce Commission’s Small Employer of the Year.
News about the award was first published in the December 6th edition of Paris News, presented at the December 5th afternoon meeting of the Paris Economic Development Corporation. The company was nominated by Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas and out of 28 finalists he was selected among three finalists. A small employer was appointed.

Patrick Hook, Vice President of Operations, American SpiralWeld, thanked the award and commended the City of Paris, the Paris Economic Development Corporation, Lamar County and Northeast Texas Workforce Solutions for their support of the company. did.

American SpiralWeld Pipe expands operations to Paris, Texas with the construction of a new multi-million dollar 290,000-square-foot facility on a 140-acre site. The Paris facility has state-of-the-art water pipe manufacturing and coating technology, and began operations in the first quarter of 2021. In its first year of operation, the company added 95 new jobs to the community and now employs over 140 people. The company was recently awarded the Outstanding Industrial Property Appearance by the City of Paris and received the Annual Industrial Appreciation Award from the Paris Economic Development Corporation.
